Me with the ear drops and a side ways head

Alright so looks like my middle ear infection is solved. But theres another issue now, it looks like according to my Ear Nose Throat (ENT) specialist Doc Walner that I have Otitis Externa, better known as swimmers ear to the non medical nerd community. How the heck I got it, I think I kind of know, never ever over clean your ears. Apparently the earwax serves a purpose… Oops, that or it wasn’t my fault. Eh who cares. Anywho a quick office visit and some ear drops were ordered. See the photo above, that’s me holding my head sideways and still using the computer while I let the drops soak, I have to do this for 10 minutes twice a day for the next 7 days. If it’s not all better by monday he will clean it all out in the operating room when I get my trach changed and use special tools there. Praying this clears out fast!

Deaf Ear Symbol

Some of you might recognize this symbol from movie theaters handing out those special headsets to people who are hard of hearing. In my case, it just shows the fact that my right ear is still… lack of a better word, broken / hard of hearing.  Anywho I am considered hard of hearing for the time being cause I am pretty much half DEAF in my dang right ear!!! AND to boot its really NOT COMFORTABLE. UGH! Anyways tomorrow I am headed to Doctor Walners office, this time in Highland Park, this will be my first time visiting him in that office, but I am hoping he can do something to get my ear back into normal order. It might have to wait until Trach day, next monday May 9th for him to be able to do some fancy work in the O.R with my ear. Prayers be with me please. I NEED THIS FIXED!

Osama is DEAD

You all know about Osama Bin Laden, sometimes spelled as Usama to disambiguate misspellings with Obama (the good guy!) Well as you know Osama has slaughtered many Muslims and Allied Troops in the middle east. Well guess what, he is DEAD, he was shot in the head by US Armed Forces tonight and I am absolutely ecstatic that he is off the face of this earth. I ain’t trying to say I take pleasure in his death but I do take pleasure in the fact that he will never inflict any more damage upon our earth and his many victims still alive today will feel some justice!

I wonder what our world would be like today if instead of embracing malice and violence he instead embraced love and peace. I wonder why did he do what he did, what were his exact reasons. I wonder did he ever for a moment feel remorse or was he one of the pitiful, lost souls who forgot how to be human.

I hope with all my heart that we learn from our mistakes as Osama Bin Ladin was not just some anomaly he was abomination created by man, because of man’s arrogance, short sightedness, disregard for life and disregard for what was right. If we don’t learn from our mistakes we will quickly find that another Osama Bin Ladin will be born from the womb of humanity’s worst aspects and we will go through a hell like what Osama Bin Laden brought to the world all over again.
