Well looks like there is no picture for this post, mainly cause it’s just simple news. Anywho I have an ear infection and this was confirmed by our local ICC or Immediate Care Center. And interesting enough my new general care doctor will more than likely be based at the ICC. That is so great for us as the ICC is a great medical tool for me that is crucial to my survival and crucial to my medical success. I am now on Zithromax.

Happy Easter

Yesterday me mom and dad all went to Willow Creek Church for the Easter service. We enjoyed it then went for sushi. So Happy 2011 Easter!

Me and my dad went to yet another seder at Willow Creek today, which means we went / participated in TWO seders this week! We were expecting something about the crucifixion and all that out of the Good Friday service. Nope, we all had one giant seder! A seder for at least 1000 people. The seder came in a box and I made jokes about it being airline style seder, please do not open your seder until we reach cruising altitude. Anywho we had a great time and the photos are definitely indicative of that. We also met up with some friends of my dad, which was really cool!

I am a happy bluetooth boy

I got a new Bluetooth headset to replace my failed Plantronics PLT510 which I had come to know and love. I really love this headset, it has long battery life, is very comfortable and ‘fits like a hearing aid’ like the other headset. I hope it lasts me a long time!

My trach is healing nicely after lots of Silver Nitrate zappage, give myself the zappy award this time. And its no longer infected. My doctor said it’s all Kosher when I e-mailed him the status update LOL!

Tonight we had our Passover Seder at home. The table setup was nice and even better was the food. looking for the alfukoman (money / matzoh combo) was really funny. It was right under my nose the whole time, I went in and out of the kitchen at least 20 times and it was under a frikken loaf of bread ON THE COFFEE MAKER!!! I WAS LOOKING AT IT ON AND OFF THE WHOLE DAY!!! ARGH!!! SO DAFT I AM!!! Anywho I got $10 bucks! Woohoo! And we had such a nice fun seder together. It’s nice to eat dinner together! Above are some pictures from the event!

Yay, the zappage worked out nicely. I zapped it myself. And the infection is gone woohoo. Well hoping it all heals up and looks even better after I am done with the ‘roids

Well my trach has been having some issues as of late and I have not been boring the blog with them. A minor infection possibly and definite granulation tissue! We have fixed that issue above hopefully once and for all, well at least with this incident. Dad as usual did zapping, THANKS DAD! You rock!

In other news the flickr plugin is back, that allows quick and easy access to my flickr just by clicking the Photos page. There is a known bug where it ‘seems’ like you are logged out by the plugin during your time in the viewing area but you are not! You are logged in, there is nothing I can do about that bug but the minute you click back to the blog you will be automatically restored of your privileges.

This problem affected a small subset of users on my website, including me, pretty much anyone with a log in on this website couldn’t comment and the admin page would log me out the second I exited. If you visited this website yesterday you may have noticed it was DOWN totally, using a different theme, or a bunch of garbled text. Well finally after LONG hours slaving over a hot stove… I mean hot laptop I manually rebuilt my website using backups from the old site.

E-Mail subscribers were not affected and will never be affected by a site crash, E-Mail is served by a 100% redundant system that is served through FeedBlitz

I will be doing complete and total backup of my website on a weekly basis from now on, I can’t afford what happened to happen again!

There are some changes coming for people who comment on this website. If you have an account on this website but have never commented with it the website account will be deleted. Users who regularly comment should go to their profile and set a user picture! I strongly urge it for uniformity of the website. and it looks better.

Alright you know me I almost NEVER go into Religion, or Politics here and this is kind of not religion even though it has to do with Willow Creek Church. Anyways Celebration Of Hope is nothing religious. It’s 3 simple things, We Stand to end world hunger and We Stand to help fight poverty, well during the 5 day challenge if you want to experience what it is like to live in Zimbabwe you can. Simply go to the We Stand page and follow the simple instructions on how to destroy your life for a week! We Serve is easier to do, if you live near Willow Creek you can until the 17th of April volunteer to do seed packing, again go to the http://coh.willowcreek.org page for that info. You can also partake in COH by participating in a Habitat For Humanity house project in your local area. Or you can donate money and partake in the We Give portion.

Alright you all remember the post from the wee hours of last night about the servers and me owning 20 of them. I am guessing well over 50% of my readers FAILED the test. Fast Apple

WOW! Get this people, I already have my 15″ laptop back, Thanks Ryan and the team at my local Apple Store for speeding along the repair in less than a hour! Unfortunate to say they didn’t have the 7200RPM drives in stock and only the 5400RPM drives in stock, it was either choose to wait and risk my data or take a temp 5400RPM drive thats slower than a 7200RPM. Ryan made the decision for me to take the 5400RPM until the 7200RPM comes in Tomorrow or Monday, at that point it will be a quick trip for a quick disk swap. Then I come home and ‘migrate’ data to the new disk and call it a day. Not shabby at all Apple! Keep up the great work!

March 2010 stats. totally exaggerated

Wait this don’t smell right, 16420 unique visitors but only 12421 visits? Well I figured out what was wrong, during the Server Migration my stats got messed in translation and the Sites column got 10,000 dings added to it that Shouldn’t be there. So really the ACTUAL number is 6420 which is approximately 1000 more visitors than last month! So things are uptrending overall!
