It’s official, our dog daisy is now a registered service dog in the state of Illinois and federally registered too (mind you, the registrations are not government based they are government recognized.) So she can go with us to help me do things anywhere.
In other news we are now code red, I am having trouble exhaling through my mouth cause there seems to be a problem with my trach cuff. so we go to see doctor Walner tomorrow
CODE YELLOW INTENSIVE HOME MONITORING (POSSIBLE CODE RED)
thats what you see on my homepage right? Well my doctor has give me some instructions to do hot compresses on the G-Tube site as it’s probably NOT an ulcer, it’s more than likely internal granulation tissue that needs to burst, my G-Tube site bleeds sometimes from this granulation tissue, unlike tracheostomy granulation tissue belly tissue fills with blood then bursts, it’s normal. However if I am still in really bad pain and stuff on Monday we will go code red and do an emergency office visit with likely endoscopy to follow.
This is very good news that I do not have to go into the ER!!!
A CODE RED / BLUE STATUS HAS BEEN ISSUED.
What does this mean? Code Red as we all know according to the code protocol shown below.
The code red / blue has been issued because of ongoing pain within my G-Tube site INSIDE my stomach, this ongoing pain has gotten worse and worse and is now about a 6-8 on the pain scale. The pain was especially severe when changing my G-Tube tonight and there was a little bit of blood involved. Due to the fact of blood being involved it is more likely that the CODE BLUE will occur tomorrow with an E.R trip to Lutheran General. Otherwise a CODE RED office visit will be executed next week. regardless this is something that needs to be seen to ASAP.
Code Review
CODE GREEN - This is probably a code we will NEVER see again. Code green used to be used when all was totally normal and absolutely no monitoring or at home procedures were needed. Since I am almost ALWAYS under some sort of monitoring and procedure this code is effectively considered retired and not our “Normal” code
CODE YELLOW - This is our “Normal” medical code. You WANT to see code yellow updates on the blog and site. Code yellow means standard monitoring and procedure is being followed and NO TYPE OF HIGH PRIORITY DOCTORS VISIT OR SURGERY IS SCHEDULED. ROUTINE DOCTOR VISITS MAY BE ASSIGNED A CODE RED TAG IF THEIR PRIORITY WARRANTS.
CODE RED - code red is a very difficult to use code. I mainly change to code red when a HIGH PRIORITY DOCTORS VISIT IS MADE and or when a surgery is PRIORITY SCHEDULED. CODE RED IS NOT FOR LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES AND OR EMERGENCIES OF NATURE WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS TO SURGERY OR VISIT. i.e The Baclofen Pump story and its second surgery. In the case of The Baclofen Pump story that occurred within 24-48 hours and would be a CODE RED, the second surgery should have been but was not coded as a CODE BLUE.
CODE RED / BLUE – This is a very unusual code. This code is used for Convertible codes when a Code Red office visit may occur OR the code may convert to a full code blue. In the event of a conversion ONLY a blog post will be made, front page will NOT reflect the conversion, front page will still display CODE RED / BLUE. This code is a rarity
CODE BLUE - code blue is also a difficult code to use. it is EXCLUSIVELY reserved for EXTREMELY HIGH PRIORITY surgeries and or E.R visits or other things that require immediate attention (under 24 hours) a previous example of a code blue situation was the Second Emergency Baclofen Pump Surgery. It is also used obviously in life threatening situations.
Code Red will also have a suffix attached to it to signify priority, Code Red HIGH is for high priority and Code Red LOW is for something like right now with the cardiac pulmonary mess. No other codes will use a suffix

Sme of you may recognize my ICU monitor in the picture above. Unfortunately it has broken again. We have already sent them the software card that was inside the monitor, to get re-flashed. nfortunately the reflash did not work. Something is still wrong with the monitor. We have already paid a pretty penny in labor costs. $75 to be exact. This is becoming a real financial strain. And I really need this monitor to work. Hopefully the company will help me figure something out. Until then we are using the Nonin that I got from Walgreens.
Since I have got my new Mac, I am now using the voice dictation software to type my blog posts again. I am having a few glitches with the software. However I am quickly working them out. In fact the majority of them are fixed as of this post. I had to do some retraining with the software, since I have upgraded to a new Macintosh. And the software did not transition properly. I had to contact MacSpeech support, Because the software started dropping letters, like I would say The and it would type he even though the recognition engine tells me it saw The being said. So they had me uninstall and reinstall it. Per MacSpeech technician instruction. I have completed the process, and it appears to be working for me now. This is very good news for me my blog, and people I talk to. Because now I am able to talk to them quicker on the computer than typing.I
The hole is smaller at the trach but wider down low... cant have everything all at once.
Two days ago I had my trach changed and burned up in the O.R by doctor Walner, today I am going to start a small series of non antibiotic steroid on the upper end of my trach site to eliminate the granulation tissue that was there. SO heres to hoping my trach site stays well

Yesterday was an absolutely AWESOME day in other news, I GOT MY LAPTOP A WHOLE DAY EARLY!!! Which means a whole day early to mess with the partitions and get Boot Camp working and migrated, which explains why the videos and all the photos for this post were today and this post is today instead of yesterday… Sheesh, moving bootcamp from one machine to another is FREAKISHLY TIME CONSUMING!! BLAH!!! And don’t get me started on resizing the bloodied partitions. BLEH! And figuring out HOW to do it was a pain, to make that easier for readers to my blog google Winclone Download, go to somewhere like softpedia where they have their own server as Winclone’s developer Twocanoes is bankrupt and gone. Resizing partitions your gonna need $20 dollar Paragon CampTune, well worth it if your a hard drive space saving junkie LOL. But be careful! CampTune your partition BEFORE imaging it, your better off that way… Otherwise you will be like me cursing at the computer all day the second day you have it (today) and end up having to redo Boot Camp migration from scratch! Oh and the video is right… here.
Attracta buttons on cPanel... don't click them...
Attracta, If you have siteground you have Attracta in your cPanel under SEO tools, do me a favor… don’t click any of those pretty attractive buttons that promise your website a better future unless you are on a dedicated server OR have a small site (huge blog + Attracta = BAD) The above explains why, and the below explains more. So I get an URGENT E-Mail from Siteground this morning that my website has been flagged as abusive, I then go look at Attracta which has produced 300K+ hits in the last DAY, yeah last DAY, and OVERLOADED my server. So yeah that being said, Attracta’s bots overloaded the server and are not built for large sites unlike Googlebot, don’t use Attracta until they get some sort of throttling and safety like Google. Let alone, Attracta only makes a sitemap and submits it (for) you, you can do this all for yourself for free without paying their monthly fee, and you can submit site maps to Google all you want. So go manual don’t go Attracta in my opinion!
Siteground told me it wasn’t my fault blah blah blah apologies for this and that from one of their directors and that if I had any input into the case and i pretty much said, get rid of Attracta til they get their stuff sorted!
Heres to hoping Siteground pulls their partnership with this company until they can get their ducks in a proper row.
SO now you wonder if I am giving my web statistics, NO, thanks to Attracta’s bots producing severely askew stats I will not be giving statistics until January 1st at which I will have my statistics program once again reset at the server head end December 1st, so don’t expect to see another statistics report till January 1st and that will be regarding month of December… Thanks Attracta!

You probably recognize the above photo having an item from my lead apron in it, the thyroid collar to be exact. As you know I do many odd things sleeping and I have always found that the thyroid collar is well not best suited at my neck. Moreso my cheek and lips, feels very nice and smells good. I have been sleeping the last few nights like this for some reason or another, oh and I love staring into the sparkles. Who knows how my sleep will change next week or the next or stay the same, no one knows. Sometimes I sleep wearing a latex outfit, others a Littmann around my neck, it all is dynamic, thats one interesting thing about Autism, nothing is the same day to day.
MY LAPTOP IS ON A FREAKING TRUCK HEADED FOR MY HOUSE!!!! now shutting this one off to move all files over to my external hard drive for cloning. offline time estimated to be about 4-8 hours. expect unboxing vid and photos
Holy. Crap. well my trach cuff has ruptured! and it’s less than 10 hours to the procedure it’s self! dang good timing huh!
