Me & My Plantronics Voyager 510 Donated by Bob from Make a Wish

Yay! I got my new Plantronics Voyager 510 headset today via UPS. I was excited about this since I got it ordered with two day shipping last saturday, damn no shipping on sundays, people should ship and shipping should move product year round dang it. I was real quick to get it out of the box and onto the charger for the first 3 hour charge which is not bad for having a 6 hour battery life, same as my phone. Bob from Make a Wish donated the $50.00 that was necessary to buy it as part of his christmas / whatever donation. Thanks Bob! This is a great addition to my assistive technology arsenal. This is especially good for me since holding the phone up to my ear is not possible PERIOD, and using speakerphone annoys the hell out of the other person. Everyone always friggen complains “It’s echoey I can’t hear you, your breaking up, are you on speakerphone” NO MORE COMPLAINTS NOW! I have BlueTooth now and it will make things a hell of a lot easier for me and the people I talk to! Will also allow me to talk while I am laying in bed easier for me since now I can lay on my side in my good position for my spine when I am off the computer for the night or just don’t feel up to being on it.
